Green View promotes Candi Scheuermann to Director of Retail Operations. With 25+ years in horticulture, she will oversee our retail garden centers and purchasing. Candi emphasizes team development, customer experience, and innovation.

Springfield, IL – November 25, 2024 – Green View is pleased to announce the promotion of Candi Scheuermann to the position of Director of Retail Operations. With over many years of experience in the horticulture industry, Candi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this new role.

Candi brings over 25 years of expertise in purchasing management, retail development, and ornamental horticulture. Her experience spans in-ground tree production, perennial nursery operations, retail management, and team building. A dedicated contributor to the industry, Candi has served on the Lincoln Land Community College Horticulture Curriculum Committee for 20 years and mentors through the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association’s Women’s Networking Group.

As Director of Retail Operations for Green View, Candi oversees two high-volume retail garden centers and their dedicated teams, as well as the purchasing department, ensuring that all Green View locations across Central Illinois provide top-quality landscape plants and materials for installation projects. In her role, she upholds Green View's core values by fostering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and driving innovative solutions to meet evolving market demands.

Candi collaborates closely with industry partners to ensure product quality and availability, aligning with seasonal trends and customer expectations. She emphasizes team development, uniting retail staff under a shared vision of excellence, and works to create an environment where collaboration, accountability, and creativity thrive. Her leadership ensures that Green View remains a trusted resource for both customers and industry professionals, delivering consistent value and service across all locations.

Outside of work, Candi and her husband enjoy gardening, canning, and making a home for their rescue pets, including their donkeys, Dill & Pickles. They also cherish spending time with their adult children.
