Dave Pence Promoted to Director of Maintenance Sales & Operations
Green View promotes David Pence to Director of Grounds Maintenance Sales & Operations. With 35+ years in landscaping, David will oversee sales and operations for four branches, focusing on innovation and customer satisfaction. He is also active in community sports and family life.
Green View is pleased to announce the promotion of David Pence to the position of Director of Grounds Maintenance Sales & Operations. With over 35 years of experience in the landscaping industry, David brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in his new role.
David began his landscaping career in 1990 and joined Green View in 1993 as the Landscape Design-Build Manager. He played a key role in many award-winning Design-Build projects on both state and national levels. Having spent most of his time with the Springfield landscape division, David later took on leadership of the Grounds Maintenance division.
Through dedication and hard work, David advanced to Springfield Branch Manager and Vice President, overseeing the Grounds Maintenance division. He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Sciences—Forestry, with a minor in Management, from Western Illinois University. David has held Certifications for the Illinois Nurseryman's Association and ISA—Certified Arborist.
In his new role, David will oversee sales and operations for Green View’s four central Illinois branches. He will work to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry by implementing the latest technologies, products, and best practices in Grounds Maintenance. His leadership will focus on optimizing team performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving innovation to meet the market's evolving needs.
David’s extensive experience and dedication to quality service will further strengthen Green View’s reputation as a leader in professional landscaping services across Central Illinois.
David enjoys an active family life outside of work with his wife, Trish, and their three children. He is deeply involved in his children's extracurricular activities, having coached multiple sports, including baseball, football, and basketball. David also founded and coaches a high school Trap shooting team, reflecting his passion for youth sports and community engagement.
